One way that kids get excited about giving is by looking forward to “Giving Day, “ a special day of the year on which all children of age in the family have an opportunity to decide to whom to donate funds. Take the opportunity to:

• TALK with you children and other family members about why you give and to whom you want to give.
  
• THINK about giving by coming up with some unique fundraising ideas
• PLAY games to practice giving
• PRACTICE giving in little ways throughout the year
